ldHoOnce again thanks to TheJerseyWay and Lenny Harper for this interview.

I does beg the question, what exactly are the SoJP doing in relation to this? We hear nationally of the work of other forces. In Jersey we hear a deafening silence!

I think a mic. was left on as we hear the news-readers voice interject at 6.06 saying " he's agreed to do a Committee of inquiry."
I suppose the rule for BBC Jersey goes like this-
If interviewing an establishment figure such as ILM or Bailhache, let them say what they like. Drop in the odd 'tame' question to create a veneer of impartiality.
When conducting 'live' interviews with 'mavericks'(quote ILM) like Lenny Harper, and presumably whistleblowers and dissidents like Stuart Syvret and Neil VFC- double up with a silent interviewer.

Interesting at 06:05 you can hear a female voice in the background reminding the BBC interviewer about the COI.

Wow, the interviewer cannot be trusted to deal with such an interview without someone's guidance!!

Around 8mins a female voice can be heard cutting in - it must have been the producer - saying Ian Le Marquand has agreed to a Committee of Enquiry.

Well whoop whoop de whoop

He voted against a Committee of Enquiry in 2011

Thats right. The producer doesn't even know her facts.

Home Affairs Minister Senator Le marquand voted against a Committee of Enquiry.

Up your game BBC Jersey

And push the right buttons

It concerns me greatly that when the institutional child abuse investigation in Jersey was closed many cases still remain unprosecuted.

Another issue that concerned me was that of Channel Television producing a documentary with the person who took over the investigation which it appeared to me was to specifically trash the work that had been investigated prior to his appointment.

Hope to have an exclusive and in-depth interview with Lenny Harper published by tomorrow afternoon but without anybody screaming in an ear-piece frantically trying to protect Ian Le Marquand!

The radio snip is not working.

Hi Anon.

All I can say is that it must be busy, just give it a minute. Thanks for listening anyway.

Thanks TJW. It took about 45mins to download at 3-4secs a time but once downloaded was able to listen to the complee broadcast. Seems mighty strange that Radio Jersey are inviting Lenny Harper on to discuss such matters considering their previous abysmal treatment of him. Thank God I have finally left the septic isle. Thanks.

@bbcjersey Crimes committed over here are unvestigated by The States Police not the UK, you'd think Mr. Harper would know that

Is the above more Harper trashing considering the tweet does not reflect what Mr Harper actually said.

Did they not listen to the interview. Mr Harper 3:30 said a lot of the investigation depends on the Jersey Government because they obviously control who works and who looks at what is happening in Jersey. Metropolitan police or any other police in the uk cannot just walk into Jersey and say we're going to investigate this. They can take statements and they can include it in any subsequent final report that they do, but if offences are alleged to have commited in Jersey then obviously it has to be the Jersey Government who gives the go-ahead for a force to come in and to investigate that.

I can't recall a BBC interview outside Jersey when the interviewer was desperate to cut off any guest with Lenny Harper's amount of professional expertise on the topic, but it was an interesting interview anyway. BBC Jersey must be nervously hoping to maintain an impossible balance between their old State Media complicity and a hasty directive to pretend to be unbiased news journalists.

Jersey Way

Just thank you, thank you and thanks again. You were almost ready to give up not long ago and now you are the supplier of record for these recordings. You have or will have outside journalists looking here for evidence of what lies were told by the Jersey Mafia running the government. Never give up the good fight.

Hi Anon.

When we get comments like yours how can I give up, I shall keep going until there is no need.

so it could be a long time!

Thank you.

BBC radio Jersey audio above 6:04
Interjection by female behind the presentor.

He has agreed to do a Committee of enquiry.

Presenter@ But Just a moment, there, there has been an agreement to a committee of enquiry and there have also been people prosecuted and also unfortunately we don't have Senator Le Marquand here, in the studio to to, defend himself on this.
