Jersey FC or the Jersey Old Boy's Club?

For starters I'm right up for a Jersey FC, it's about time so good luck Mr Culkin. I will become a member and supporter.

I'm putting this up because I think this is a very important point in Jersey Football and it's great listening to other people trying to breakaway from the Old Boy's Network that rules everything over here in Jersey.

I take my hat off to you Mr Culkin.

First of all we had the Debate, last Friday evening 16/05/14, about where Jersey Football was and were was it going after the 4 - 1 loss to Guernsey in the Muratti. Guernsey have gone Professional and are going from strength to strength. So we want some of that.

But Mr Tim Darwin who is the President of the Jersey Football Combination League, says that a "Jersey FC would be Counter Productive to there System" !

Why would that be Mr Darwin ?

You all nice and comfortable with the way it is Mr Darwin ?

???

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Today Mr Culkin was on the Radio to tell us how he was going to do it and was very upfront and honest in saying "he hasn't got a clue" but it has to start somewhere and that place is not a bad place to start.

A complete clean slate.

I wish you all the best and when Jersey FC are in the Premier League in 20 years time (I do hope it will be sooner) we can listen back on here and to remember how it all began.

Victoria Derbyshire Interviews about Cyril Smith on BBC Radio 5Live

A lawyer representing alleged victims of the politician Sir Cyril Smith says they'll take legal action against the Lib Dems if it's proven the party knew and didn't act. Police are investigating claims that the former Rochdale MP - who died in 2010 aged 82 - repeatedly abused children during his 40 year career in politics.

Should the Lib Dems be doing more to find out who knew what when about Cyril Smith? Nick Clegg says he would support stripping the late Liberal politician Cyril Smith of his knighthood, following accusations the former Rochdale MP sexually abused children over decades. Now a Labour MP has written a book compiling the allegations against Cyril Smith - and calling for a full inquiry into what happened. We speak to him, and to a former Lancashire detective who investigated the allegations.
